My Big Gay Italian Wedding will play its final performance on August 20 at off-Broadway's St. Luke's Theatre. The production debuted at the Actors Playhouse in 2003 before closing the following year. The return engagement opened at St. Luke's on May 22, 2010.
The show follows Anthony, a family-oriented, gay Italian-American man who proposes to his boyfriend (who comes from a Polish background). The production currently stars Anthony J. Wilkinson, Chase Coleman, Erik Ransom, Adam Shorsten, Brett Douglas, Liz Gerecitano, Leah Gerstel, Randi Kaplan, Chad Kessler, Kim Sozzi, Marissa Rosen, Meagan Robar, Joe Scanio, Joey Murray, Mike Russo and Tommaso Antico. The show has featured appearences by many celebrities throughout its run, including Lance Bass, Tabatha Coffey, Teresa Giudice and Reichen Lehmkuhl.
